Telephone Sockets

I have a master telephone socket near the front door but no electric socket for a phone or router. My Sky provider recommended that I plug the router and phone into the master telephone socket as I was loosing my internet connection all the time. I cannot add an electric socket near the front door without huge expense but plugging the router and phone on another extension isn't working. Thanks.

I think you need to temporarily use the master socket to see if your problem disappears.
