Supajet 102 Shower
We have a Supajet 102 shower fitted some years ago by the then Gas Board. Recently it will not switch off completely at the shower unit. The flow stops but the switch makes a loud whirring noise (sometimes laboured) and the only way to silence it is to switch off the main switch in the airing cupboard which is located just below the transformer box. Occasionally the flow is weak but this does not happen every time. I would appreciate any suggestions please.

Hi Ann,
It sounds as though the pump is still running with the water shut off. I don't know much about this particular shower but I would think that when the shower is shut off the pump should switch off with a pressure switch. You can get advice and parts from www.showerdoc.co.uk
