shower doors

Can someone help?
Having installed the tray we have discovered our side panels for a walk in shower are too tall. Installation would require cutting into the sloping roof for the side panel. Our only option maybe to cut the glass to fit. is this feasible? If not where might we find a supplier of shower side panels on the net.
Thank you.

Hi Anne,
You will not be able to cut the glass side panel as it will be toughened glass. Toughened glass is cut to size before it is heat treated to toughen it. Any glass merchant will be able to supply you with a toughened glass panel to the shape you require, it will be the framing (if any) that could cause problems getting it made to measure,
I hope this helps, John
