Shower sealing strip - needs replacing

Postby Pat Rushton » Thu Nov 30, 2006 11:38 am

I have a glass shower screen over my bath. The plastic strip at the bottom is perished and discoloured.
How do I remove it?
Where do I get a replacement?
How do I fix the replacement?
Any advice much appreciated

I had the same problem, I couldn't find any suitable sealing strip anywhere, but I found that the rubber section from a draft excluder strip that was designed for the bottom of a door fitted perfectly. I bought it from a DIY store. Make sure it's a rubber one and not the more common brush type. Obviously check that the slot in the bottom of your screen is the right size to accept the rubber seal.

Hope this helps
