I wish to re-route some existing BT cabling and move it into surface mounted ducting.
I don't want to re-run the cabling from the existing BT junction box, because it has so many extensions and lines coming in/out of it, that I am nervous of mucking up.
I will therefore have to cut the existing cabling and then re-join it.
The surface conduit does not contain sufficient space to use BT modular sockets and plugs.
It does however contain enough space, to use normal, electrician's screwed terminal blocks (e.g. http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro ... 8&id=16924 ).
Can one use these to join telephone cables?
Thanks.
Nick

Re: Telephone Cabling Query
Click on the electrics link on the side of this page, there is a section on telephone extensions, might help.
