Makita Accesories - what are they ?

Postby Peter » Fri May 09, 2008 9:00 am

I recently purchased a Makita Cordless Drill and in the accessories in the lid there are two conical shaped pieces with what looks like small springs at the cone shaped end and these are marked simply as "Plastic Finder". There are no instructions or indications of what exactly these two implements are for. Anybody got the same or any ideas?

I believe these are screw finders, they centre the drill over the screw and prevent the bit from slipping out and damaging the work. Hope this helps, I leave mine in the case and just take lots of care with any screwdriving...less bits to lose when tidying up!
