I would like to apply for planning application and was wondering which software package was used in this pdf file shown below. If anyone could recommend alternative packages it would appreciated. Regards Neil

Neil,

All the pdf is showing is a drawing, it is not any software specific to planning applications.

What you need to do is google +2D +CAD and you will come up with hundreds of hits.

If your budget is non-existent then google +free +2D +CAD and you will still get hundreds of hits. It will then be a case of picking one of them.

And when I went onto another forum I frequent (for the 3D CAD package I use at home) there is a recommendation from one of the experienced guys there for:

http://www.progesoft.com/en/

Have a look at that for a free trial package.
