Siemens RWB9 Instruction Manual

Postby Gerry White » Tue Aug 01, 2006 8:40 am

Hi can anyone help? I have moved into a new house with a Siemens RWB9 hot water and central heating control. However I have no manual - can anyone help point me to an online version? I have googled and searched the Siemens web site to no avail.

Thanks in advance.

Gerry,

A quick google for +siemens +rwb9 and you get the first hit:

http://www.kirklees.gov.uk/knh/tenantin ... ting.shtml

and it is on the bottom half of the page.

The Kirklees.gov.uk web page that Paul listed, has moved - it's now http://www.knh.org.uk/yourhome/runningy ... rols.shtml

At the house I live in, there is a sheet of instructions from "Landis & Staefa", which seems to be an amalgamation of those 3 PDFs, but also has a few features missing - which I think is because our RWB9 must be an older model.

FWIW, 1 thing not in the manual is that the RWB9 allows you to set the start and finish times the same - which means the heating just remains off. (Useful if you temporarily only want 1 switching period per day while leaving your dip switches set to 2 switching periods per day.)

P.S. These manuals aren't well written, IMHO. (Never mind though, Wi-Fi thermostats are the future!)
